The production of building materials such as roofing membranes, EPDM rubber sheets and prefabricated elements has generally low water consumption. Water in closed systems is used to cool roofing membranes at the end of the production line so that they can be rolled up. Growing vegetation for green infrastructure requires water for irrigation. Water consumption in 2022 for Products & Solutions was 161,925 m3 of which cultivations accounted for 9,577m3. Installation Services accounted for 1,729 m3.
