Nordic Waterproofing Group has today signed an agreement to acquire a further 31 percent of the shares in Playgreen Finland Oy (Playgreen), a Finnish company mainly active in the field of offering design, sales and installations of solar energy solutions. In 2020 Nordic Waterproofing acquired 33 percent of Playgreen and now holds in total 64 percent of the shares in the company with options to acquire the remaining 36 percent.

Nordic Waterproofing Holding AB’s nomination committee ahead of 2023 Annual General Meeting has been appointed, based on ownership data as per 31 August 2022.

Nordic Waterproofing has, through its Danish subsidiary Taasinge Elementer A/S, acquired 100 percent of Annebergs Limtræ A/S (Annebergs Limtræ) in Lunde in Southwest Juttland. With this acquisition, Taasinge Elementer strengthens its value chain through its own production of important components in glulam. At Annebergs Limtræ, the long-standing owners also get a desired succession in place. Taasinge Elementer thus continues the strategic process that will equip the company to take advantage of the opportunities in a growing market for sustainable building solutions.

Nordic Waterproofing Group has signed an agreement to acquire 70 percent of the Finnish company EG-Trading Oy (“EG-Trading”). EG-Trading is growing sedum and offers a wide variety of different landscaping products and is headquartered in Tammisaari in southern Finland. EG-Trading has 15 employees and an annual turnover of EUR 3 m. The acquisition will, together with our existing green infrastructure businesses, expand our geographical coverage of green infrastructure and landscaping solutions in the Nordic market.

Nordic Waterproofing Group has signed an agreement to acquire 70 percent of the Finnish company VKP Holding Oy (“VKP”). The VKP Group provides roofing and waterproofing services and is headquartered in Kajaani in northeast Finland. VKP Group has 75 employees and an annual turnover of EUR 9 m. The acquisition will, together with our existing Installation Services businesses, expand our geographical coverage of roofing services in the Finnish market.

Nordic Waterproofing Holding AB (publ) (the “Company”) held its annual general meeting on 28 April 2022. In order to prevent the spread of the virus causing covid-19, the general meeting was carried out solely through postal voting, without any physical presence. At the general meeting, the following resolutions were made.

The Nordic Waterproofing Group has acquired 100% of Gordon Low Ltd (“Gordon Low”), a company in the UK. The company was founded 40 years ago and is headquartered in Bedfordshire. Gordon Low is leading specialist fabricator and distributor of pond liners and other waterproof membranes for the aquatic, landscaping, commercial water containment and agriculture sector. They offer several kinds of lining products like EPDM, Butyl and PVC with the UK as their main market. Gordon Low has ca 20 employees and an annual turnover of ca GBP 5 m.
